Photos from the plane. They gave us menus to have options on our dinner and breakfast it was pretty nice. They even gave us little pouches with a wash cloth, socks, and a tooth brush with toothpaste since our flight was so long. I felt special I can only imagine how first class got treated!
Meet my team members Frances, Jessica, Ashley, Beth Ann, and me. Of course I blink in the photo but its ok I was laughing at the man taking the photos, he was funny.

This was us getting ready to head to JFK

Uganda here I am!

Sooo we made it to Uganda. It was a long two days of traveling but it was worth it.

First we started out at the JKF airport with a flight at 11:00pm flying straight to Dubai in Emirates airline. It was a 12 hour flight and as soon as we took off I was out. I woke up several hours later only to find out that there was only three more hours until arrival. I was excited that I slept that much because I really needed it. After we landed we got checked into our overnight hotel since we had a 12 hour layover and then we woke up a few short hours later at 5:30am to go catch the next flight to Uganda. We saw a little bit of Dubai but not as much as I had hoped for, but it is definitely a cool place. Our next flight was to be about 7 hours so I watched a couple movies and then decided to take a nap. As I was waking up they said we were landing and I couldn't believe it had been 7 hours already, but it turns out we had to stop in Ethiopia first to drop off passengers. After most of the plane got off me and my team members moved around and we all got our own row for the remaining two hour flight. The flight went smooth. We got our 3 month visas with out a problem and we got ALL 12 of our bags. We were so nervous that they would get lost but everything worked out. Hallelujah After we got our bags loaded our driver brought us to the guest house in Kampala, Uganda which is where I will be until Saturday. After Saturday internet won't be as accessible so I'll keep this updated as often as possible. I've had a long day but I wanted all to know I was safe. Thanks for the prayers.
