Spring Fever!

I had a bit of Spring Fever and decided to be spontaneous. I've had a black bookshelf in my room for a while now, but I can't say that anymore! I rolled out of bed, looked over at my bookshelf and my mind shouted "TURQUOISE!" so I threw on some sweats, and headed to Lowes, bought some paint and vuala!
From black to turquoise; old to new
I figure the more spring colors I have around me, the more I can ignore all the rain outside.
Have a happy rainy and inspiring day!
Blessings,
Courtney

Spring Is Here...Time to book your Engagement Session!

Engagement photos are a great way for you and your fiance to get to know your photographer, as well as help you both feel at ease in front of the camera. If your engagement session is booked early enough, you can use the photos to make your "Save the Date" cards, as well as have images to use for decorations on your wedding day.
Engagement sessions take place at the location of your choice and can last up to 2 hours.
Tips For Choosing a Location:
Ask yourself what kind of look you are trying to achieve. Do you like the outdoors, rustic country, shabby chic, or contemporary architecture setting? Choose a location that has a special meaning to you, or that reflects your personalities in some way. You could even plan a mini-date in order to capture the two of you in an informal setting. For example, you could go out for ice cream, have a picnic in the park, or even walk along the beach at sunset. Don’t be afraid to do something fun & crazy! But, if you are having trouble deciding on a location I can most certainly help you brainstorm.
Contact Courtney today to get your session booked....it's one more thing you can check off your to-do list.!

Self Portrait

Delta 3200....beautiful grain........
I can't get over how much I love film. I honestly don't know how people can love digital images so much because film speaks for itself in my opinion. I think technology needs to slow down and we should be encouraging more film to be shot, that way these companies won't keep going out of business like my old time favorite, Polaroid. The day that film becomes obsolete is the day that my soul will start to fade away. I'm actually scared to think of what the future could even be possible of because every 6 months a new piece of technology comes out.
Anyway, enough about my film. Here are some self portraits I took. Not tooo creative but I thought they turned out pretty cute.
And I had to include my most favorite photo of my other half. It's not the best exposure but I love the image.
Enjoy!
Blessings
